CMA Songwriters Series a sell out at Joe’s Pub in NYC

CMA’s popular CMA Songwriters Series, which features mega-hit Country songwriters taking the stage to tell their stories behind the songs and perform them in the raw, had two nights of successful, sellout performances at Joe’s Pub in New York City.

The songwriters were Phil Vassar, whose hits include “Just Another Day in Paradise” and “In a Real Love,” 2012 CMA Triple Play Award winner Shane McAnally, host and hit songwriter Bob DiPiero and Brandy Clark, whose hits include Miranda Lambert’s “Mama’s Broken Heart” and The Band Perry’s “Better Dig Two.”

Each artist captivated the audience in their unique way. McAnally, DiPiero and Clark played an acoustic guitar set, while Vassar switched gears by playing piano.
