Columbia Nashville artist Leah Turner stopped by for a Live@CMA performance, where she performed acoustic, stripped-down versions of her latest single, “Take the Keys,” and “Make Your Move,” “My Finger” and “Pull Me Back.” Leah started her career in Los Angeles where she was given the opportunity to work with top producers such as David Foster and Humberto Gatica. After realizing that Country Music was a better fit for her, she moved to Nashville where she was signed to Columbia Nashville in July 2013 and recently released her first single, “Take the Keys”, which is available for download on iTunes.

In this video she also talks about growing up on a farm in California, the importance of lyrics in Country, and about her journey to Nashville, which included a leap of faith moving cross-country to pursue her dream.

Here is Leah Turner’s official music video for her single, “Take the Keys.”
