RAY STEVENS DEBUTS “RAYALITY TV” ONLINE

On Friday, March 21, Country comedy music legend Ray Stevens launched the first webisode of his new weekly web sitcom, “Rayality TV.”

In it, Stevens gets a speeding ticket and is sentenced to serve time at The Encore, a retirement home for entertainers.

“Over the years I have produced hours and hours of videotape and film footage for TV shows, TV pilots, movies, stage shows, concerts and music videos,” says Stevens.  “Recently I sorted it all out, linked it together with some new footage and produced a series of programs for the web titled ‘Rayality TV.’  It’s fast, fun and funny.  We’ll be offering up a new webisode each week for months to come.  I hope you like it.”

Stevens’ new original series will run for 78 weeks with new installments going live on YouTube each Friday.  The series features cameo appearances members of CMA’s Country Music Hall of Fame, including Bobby Bare, Ralph Emery, Phil Everly, George Jones and Louise Mandrell, as well as Steve Martin, Darrell Waltrip, Andy Williams and other familiar faces.
