Led by CMA Director of Creative Services Amanda Eckard, directed by Ben Boutwell, and in coordination with CMA’s Riverfront Stage partner, Chevrolet — Boutwell used post-production techniques to add the artists’ names into familiar downtown Nashville landmarks.

The video includes the hit, “I’m Thinking Country,” from Country artist Frankie Ballard, who will perform on the Chevrolet Riverfront Stage at CMA Fest. CMA staff and interns are the featured “actors” in the video; they travel throughout famous downtown destinations as the artist names are revealed in their surroundings.

“With such an amazing lineup for the Chevrolet Riverfront Stage this year, we wanted to do something unique that would get people talking and sharing on social media,” Eckard said. “We came up with the concept to showcase downtown Nashville and add the Riverfront performer names to the fabric of this great city that hosts CMA Fest every June.

“Our incredible partner Chevrolet jumped at the chance to be involved and gave us a few cars to use, then we found the ultra-talented Ben Boutwell to shoot and create the graphics. I gathered some CMA staff members as extras, shot it in a day, and set Ben loose to create his post-production magic. (Visit Ben’s website by clicking HERE)

“It’s definitely one of my favorite projects I have worked on in my 13 years at CMA and the one that I am most proud.”
