DANIELLE BRADBERY MAKES A YOUNG FAN’S DAY SPECIAL
As one fan leaves and another waits to greet her, Danielle Bradbery sang along to her own songs playing on Friday at the Big Machine booth at Fan Fair X.
Filled mostly with teenaged girls, the line zigzagged around the booth. One child stood out in particular. At a moment’s glance one would think that Bradbery was leaning down in order to talk to the petite Harper Forshee, from Franklin, Tennessee. But then onlookers noticed she was listening to the 8-year-old girl sing Bradbery’s 2014 single “Young In America.” Afterwards, an overjoyed Forshee noted this is the second time she has met her favorite singer, the first being at a Brad Paisley concert where Bradbery was opening.
Bradbery signed with Big Machine Records just one day after winning Season Four of “The Voice,” where she competed as a contestant on Blake Shelton’s team. At 16, she was the youngest singer to win “The Voice” to date.
Despite spending two long hours on her feet signing autographs, Bradbery seemed just as happy to greet fans near the tail end as she did at the beginning.
