Steven credits the heavy influence of his roots – the people around him and closest to him — for his musical identity and for the inspiration in crafting his unique Country sound, Good at Goodbye. He talks about choosing his own musical path, including playing songs in the early days that not everyone was playing in bars across the U.S.

“I played songs that weren’t necessarily the popular songs,” Steven says of his early days. “Instead, I played songs that were tracks from albums of the artists I like.”

These days, Steven has been busy touring the southeast, including throughout his home state. He is also promoting his first single, “Peaches & Pines,” which incorporates traditional sounds into his own blend of modern Country.

Being a CMA member has many benefits for artists, songwriters and everyone who works in Country Music. One of the greatest is that your membership helps advance Country Music. Several membership categories are available. Become a member today! CLICK HERE
